The Divas With Disabilities Project introduced us to Dr. Chantrise Holliman. Here Chantrise tells us about her favorite piece of clothing.

Chantrise is a black women with short platinium blond hair. She's wearing glasses, a white shirt, distressed light blue denim pants, and silver earrings and bangle. She's looking into the camera, smiling, sitting in a wheelchair. Her right leg is amputated above the knee. The other leg is amputated below the knee.

Chantrise: "I’m a jeans and tee-shirt kinda gal more often than not."

Chantrise Holliman:

“My favorite piece of clothing apart from leggings is a comfortable pair of distressed jeans. (Distressed jeans are jeans that have a worn and vintage look.) I have many pairs from a brand called Resfeber.

Jeans were always my favorite, long before my amputations and paralysis. I still enjoy them, even if I have to modify them to make them fit my limbs now. I look and feel great in them!

I am an author, motivational speaker, and professional development trainer. Nine times out of 10 I’m at home or working in a place that doesn’t require me to dress up. I can dress up when I want to, but I’m a jeans and tee-shirt kinda gal more often than not.”
