The Fashion Series with The Divas With Disabilities Project
The Divas With Disabilities Project introduced us to Dr. Chantrise Holliman. Here Chantrise tells us about her favorite piece of clothing.
Chantrise: "I’m a jeans and tee-shirt kinda gal more often than not."
Chantrise Holliman:
“My favorite piece of clothing apart from leggings is a comfortable pair of distressed jeans. (Distressed jeans are jeans that have a worn and vintage look.) I have many pairs from a brand called Resfeber.
Jeans were always my favorite, long before my amputations and paralysis. I still enjoy them, even if I have to modify them to make them fit my limbs now. I look and feel great in them!
Chantrise is an educator, author, and motivational speaker.
I am an author, motivational speaker, and professional development trainer. Nine times out of 10 I’m at home or working in a place that doesn’t require me to dress up. I can dress up when I want to, but I’m a jeans and tee-shirt kinda gal more often than not.”
